THE TASK: Dorma Kaba is a Swiss giant producing office access products. The glass partitions segment was booming in India. So they decided to launch demountable glass and aluminum ​partitions targeted at startups, IT companies and those with a scalable business model. Albert Dali was mandated with finding the right name for the product.

THE SOLUTION: We dug deep into the product benefit. The beauty of these partitions was they could be assembled at will to carve out the space, one needs. The power to alter the office terrain gave us the idea for the name. We called it ALT Terra or Alterra. The Alt was our subtle way of connoting that it was primarily meant for IT companies.
