THE TASK: The largest conglomerate in Maldives had a small conundrum. All their resorts, hotels, investment companies and other subsidiaries were working in silos. They wished to bring the group together through branding.
THE SOLUTION: The coconut trees of Maldives are an ubiquitous sight. Having sun-kissed beaches, light was another readily available source of inspiration. Since we viewed all the subsidiaries as branches, SHINETREE HOLDINGS somehow felt perfect as it embeds two key traits of Maldives. But since the company didn't want an overt Maldivian touch visually, we chose the ever-growing golden tree as the logo identity of the brand.
